IRHA Farmington Show

Dates: 08/26/2010 - 08/29/2010
Location: Davis County Fairgrounds, Farmington, UT
Please have your entries and stall reservations into Betty Mayer, IRHA Show Secretary by August 20th, 2010 to avoid late entry fees. Click on the Event Flyer to see list of available hotels in the surrounding area. Get your reservations in early. The IRHA has now purchased our very own tractor and trailer that should be making its first appearance at the Farmington Show. We would like to give a BIG thanks to Rod & Lisa Cowdell, Nathan Ivie, and Sam & Wes Wells for donating the use of their tractor and trailer over the past several years. We as a club pride ourselves on the quality of the ground that we run on at the shows and want to recognize Rod, Lisa, Nathan, Sam & Wes for donating the equipment to make this possible. Our club has increased in size and our shows are becoming bigger and bigger so not only has it become important that we have the proper equipment to do the job but equally important that we have someone that can run and take care of the equipment and fortunate for us Diana Wagoner is that person. She makes sure that the ground is worked perfect and takes great pride in always being ready for each show. There is far more work that goes on behind the scene then any of us realize. It has become common for Diana to drag 65 to 70 times at any given show which means filling the drag with water, gassing the tractor not to mention having to wash off the drag and adjust the teeth numerous times as well. This in its self is a horrendous job but we are fortunate that Diana has the desire to make sure all the riders and horses have the best ground possible. Thank you Diana!
