From the Board Members of the IRHA we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.

The board has been busy getting the venues set up for our 2012 show season. As you can see we have posted to the Events section the up coming shows for 2012. You will note that this coming season we have changed the number of show days. In order to help cut back on some of the expenses of putting on the shows we have changed to a three day schedule Thursday through Saturday. The classes will start each day at 8:00 am and run till classes are completed. This will help reduce the expense of paying Judges and arena time. We are currently working on the Entry Forms to combined the classes and get the right format that provides ample classes for every level of riders. We will post these to the website as soon as they have been completed, we appreciate your patients.

On another note, John Carricaburu is recovering from a knee replacement that was done on the 2nd of December. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back in the saddle come show season.

Our congratulations goes out to Jaclynn Brooks who has been elected to serve as the 2012 NRHyA Secretary. Read all about it in the next NRHA Reiner.

Oklahoma this year had some of our great IRHA riders. A great time was had by all and their riding was spectacular.

Energy City Classic & Derby is being hosted by the Cowboy States Reining Horse Association in Gillette, WY. This 3-day NRHA/AQHA/CSRHA reining event will occur May 31 - June 3, 2012. For more information contact Anna Paris at m13@tritel.net.

In the efforts to put on another successful fun show season the Board of Directors would love to hear from its members.
